The Baltimore Neighborhood Energy Challenge is in NOGLI!

The Baltimore Neighborhood Energy Challenge (or BNEC) is a 9-month pilot program that is sponsored by Baltimore's Office of Sustainability, the Baltimore Community Foundation, and BGE.  BNEC is Baltimore's response to a state-wide mandate to reduce Maryland's energy consumption by 15% by the year 2015.  It plans to accomplish this goal by providing residents of 8 Baltimore neighborhoods with tons of energy-saving products, techniques, and tips, and easy access to energy-saving services at low or no cost.  This program is determined to save you money on your electric bills!  For more information on the Baltimore Neighborhood Energy Challenge, or if you're interested in signing the pledge committing yourself to reducing your personal energy consumption, visit:  http://baltimoreenergychallenge.org .

For information on upcoming BNEC events, or opportunities to get involved in this effort in NOGLI, contact NOGLI Nicole at Nicole@greaterlauraville.com or call (410) 444-9188.
